Of course, as each film also shows it can, and does, go wrong very quickly with human input, however, we all have the belief we can do it much better than the films and Jurassic World Evolution 2 allows us a shot to prove – or disprove that notion.įor me, Jurassic World Evolution 2 was a big tick in all the right boxes, but that’s not to say that every addition can have the same impact so how does the first paid DLC pack fair in terms of quality content. Whether it’s the origin story of Jurassic Park or the expanded venture of Jurassic World, there is just something spectacular about watching those fascinating creatures come to life. Yes, the Dsungaripterus is cool but I never once felt that my park was missing anything. Whether the Early Cretaceous Pack is worth it depends on how much of a dino-completist you are. Is this an act of kindness on Frontier Development’s part? Possibly, or maybe it recognised that people who purchased the pack with real cash would want immediate access to their dinosaurs.īecause it all comes down to money, and I’m not just talking about the horrifying moment when you realise you’ve shoved these four into your park but can’t afford their upkeep. Aside from the aforementioned wide-faced flappy boy, it adds the Wuerhosaurus, a stegosaurus style herbivore, the massive, aquatic meat-munching Kronosaurus and the adorable Minmi, an ankylosaurian beast that’s just begging for an Austin Powers joke.Īll the four included are immediately available in sandbox mode, so you don’t have to unlock them from other modes. But I loved tackling Jurassic World Evolution 2 when I first got my hands on it and this pack gave me just the excuse I needed to dive back in.

No, it doesn’t trip off the tongue but the Dsungaripterus is the main reason to pick up Jurassic World Evolution 2’s Early Cretaceous Pack.
